According to a recent permit filing, Dawna’s Sports Bar has filed for a Tacoma location at 8201 Pacific Avenue.

A representative of Dawna’s Sports Bar was not immediately available to comment upon What Now Seattle’s request.

While an official opening date and what Dawna’s plans to offer have yet to be confirmed, according to the permit filing, Dawna’s was filed under Dawna’s Sports Bar LLC.

The LLC was filed on September 10th, and David Stewart is behind both the LLC and permit. The sports bar has filed for a spirits, beer, and wine rest lounge plus permission.

According to LoopNet, the address that Dawna’s Sports Bar has filed for was once home to Gloria’s Bar & Grill. Yelp has not marked Gloria’s as permanently closed.

The property was built in 1947 and is marked on the property listing as being a one-story retail and bar. The building boasts of 4,084 square feet of space.
