“When we took over ownership of Broken Spoke around two years ago, we decided that one of our goals was to expand and have a food and liquor spot,” Lonsdale told What Now Seattle, “We learned a lot along the way, and we’re excited to finally expand with a restaurant and bar that will be separate from Broken Spoke. Shin Luchador will offer a little bit of everything when it comes to food, with individual Korean and Mexican options, as well as a fusion of both cuisines.”

After a long wait and a lot of hard work, the goal for Shin Luchador is to open sometime this summer. Both Hannah and Leland are originally from California, where their love for Mexican cuisine began, and was paired with Hannah’s Korean heritage as the inspiration for the Luchador’s menu options.
