A representative of Ay Caramba was not immediately available for commentary upon What Now Seattle’s request.

While an official opening date has yet to be confirmed, the owners of Ay Caramba are Salvador and Sara Rubio.

According to the company website, “A family Mexican restaurant that offers the best of the best traditional Mexican dishes and drinks in a friendly and relaxing atmosphere. While we like our traditional Mexican dishes as much as you do, we also like to think outside the box. We are expanding our creativity and have recently added new dishes and expanded our Vegetarian and Dessert menu.”

“We started with humble beginnings in 2011 along Highway 12 just outside Yakima, WA, and due to the success of our food and service we decided to open another Caramba in Wenatchee, WA. Originally the business we took on was called “Ay Caramba Mexican Grill” and since we like to spice things up a bit, we changed it to “Ay Caramba, Tres Amigos” and gave ourselves a brand new look.”

“Our kitchen staff and wait staff pride themselves in working hard for you to enjoy a good time with your family and friends. So next time you’re in town and want to sit down, our seats are just as good as our food,” the website states.
