“We are hoping to start with our website launch, online sales, and tasting reservations on April 1st. We want to highlight the property: It is located near Lake Chelan, with the property up on a hill, where customers will have a 180-degree view of the lake and the mountains. We will have good music and good vibes,” co-owner Jason Newbrey told What Now Seattle.

“Beresford won’t have a restaurant or anything, but we will have snacks alongside our wine. We hope customers can come and sit around the fire pits and enjoy the wine. The property started as my inlaw’s property and was later passed down through the family. They had bought the property about 50 years ago where they farmed apples and had an orchard. When they got a bit older they decided to pass it down to my mother-in-law.”

“At that time, apples weren’t making as much money, so the decision was made to switch to grapes in 2017. This started with four acres of grapes. About a year ago we had acquired a parcel of the land that’s adjacent to this, which is about eight acres of grapes.”

“With the success of online sales, we want to build a proper tasting room. We have a piece of property we can and want to grow into. Beresford sourced some high-quality fruits from well-respected growers. We hope to make some really good wine that people enjoy and provide a fun atmosphere with scenic views,” Jason added.
