A representative of J. Dub’s Tavern was not immediately available for commentary upon What Now Seattle’s request.

While an official opening date and what J. Dub’s plans to offer have yet to be confirmed, according to the permit filing, J. Dub’s has filed for three different permissions, including a spirits/beer/wine lounge.

J. Dub’s Tavern is filed under BeerSluts LLC. Washington Company Search states that BeerSluts LLC was incorporated on April 12th, 2024. Listed on the permit and business filings are Paul and Cynthia Reyes.

The Search states that Paul is also behind another LLC, Tabs Tavern LLC. Cynthia is also behind another LLC, Kikey’s Cafe LLC.

According to Google, the address listed on J. Dub’s Tavern’s permit is also home to The Angry Beaver. While it does not state that The Angry Beaver has permanently closed, a recent Instagram post from the bar states “that they will be back and better than ever.”
