According to a recent permit filing, Jamar’s Sports Bar and Grill is slated to open in Des Moines at 22315 Marine View Drive S.
A representative of Jamar’s Sports Bar and Grill was not immediately available for commentary upon What Now Seattle’s request.
While an official opening date has yet to be confirmed, according to Washington Company Search, Jamar Sports Bar LLC was incorporated back in September of 2023.
Jamar’s Sports Bar Instagram biography section describes itself as “A friendly diverse sports bar with amazing food, and slightly strong drinks.” They also mention having darts, pool, karaoke, trivia, and live music.
When it comes to the property itself, Loop Net describes the space by stating, “Lease this longstanding historic turnkey restaurant location on Des Moines main thoroughfare, high traffic with many street parking spaces and private employee parking in the rear.”
“Fully equipped restaurant and bar, with views of the Puget Sound and Marina. Next to the fully remodeled Des Moines theater/event/condotel.” The property is listed to have been built back in 1952. For the gross leasable area on the property listing, Loop Net states the square footage to be around 5,900 square feet.
