According to a recent permit filing, Pizza Twist has filed for a location in Lacey at 5823 Lacey Boulevard SE Suite A.
A representative of Pizza Twist was not immediately available for commentary upon What Now Seattle’s request.
While an official opening date has yet to be confirmed, according to an article from The Bellingham Herald, “The chain creates unique pizzas with Indian flavors, such as paneer tikka masala pizza, curry, naan, butter chicken and more. Other traditional pizzas, such as supreme, Hawaiian, meat, and chicken bacon ranch will also be available.”
“The restaurant will also serve naan breadsticks, salads, wings, pasta, samosas, calzones, pizza brownies, pizza cookies, tiramisu, and Indian desserts such as rasmalai, sweet cottage cheese cooked in sugar syrup, and gulab jaman, reduced milk that forms a soft dough.”
“The restaurants’ large variety of dishes and toppings provide vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free menu offerings.,” the article adds.
Pizza Twist’s website describes the restaurant as “Pizza Twist is an international pizza chain. With locally sourced ingredients and premium quality GMO-Free Meat, our menu is filled with VEGAN, Gluten-Free, and traditional Indian twist of flavors.”
The property itself, according to Loop Net, was built in 1980. The property is listed to boast approximately 23,800 square feet and is marked as a retail property.
