“Located on the west side of the Ballard neighborhood, the Single Hill Commons will be a place for beer, wine, and community. It is expected to open in early August,” a press release sent to What Now Seattle states.

“This will be Single Hill’s first retail location in the Seattle area, but not the first time that Single Hill beer has been available in the city. Single Hill beer has been distributed to the Seattle area in different capacities since 2019. Currently, Single Hill is partnered with River Barrel Distributing in the region, and its offerings can be found at various bottle shops, beer bars, restaurants, and more.”

“We don’t want this to feel like ‘just another brewery in Ballard,’” said Andrew Pytel, the Director of Sales & Marketing for Single Hill, “so we’re keeping space on our tap list and in our to-go coolers to feature breweries we like and respect. Many in the neighborhood knew Outpouring as a wine bar, so we’ve decided to commit to that side of the business, as well.”

“Outpouring, the previous beer & wine bar in the space, already had some shared aesthetics with the Single Hill brand, so we’re not reinventing the wheel on this changeover. The Single Hill Commons will keep the beautiful wooden tables and walls of windows, and will continue to operate as a beer & wine bar. While Single Hill beer will be the primary focus, we will hold space on tap and in the to-go coolers for other breweries, as well as continuing to have a robust wine program.”
