A representative of Storied LLC was not immediately available for commentary upon What Now Seattle’s request.

While what Storied LLC plans to offer has yet to be confirmed with the new application, according to the permit filing, Storied has filed for direct shipment as well as beer/wine specialty shop permissions.

According to Bizapedia, Storied LLC was incorporated back in October of 2022. Listed on the business filing as well as the permit is Jana Hunter. On the permit filing, Mark Hunter is also listed as an applicant.

When diving in a bit further, it looks to be that the concept is called Storied at Home. According to the website, “We are Mark and Jana Hunter. We have a long history together, stemming back to some wild college days exploration travels, and to more focused volunteer programs across the country as we searched for our meaning and future.”

“After a 10-year public school teaching stint and owning a design and build remodeling company, many years later, we realized it’s okay to want change. And with that might mean switching careers and starting over.”

“While it can be challenging to do life and business together we realize we both bring assets and skillsets to the table and we (can) be helpful to each other. So, here we are deciding to just go all in and take the leap to satisfy our latest interests and ideas.”

“We hope to eventually expand. This would (hopefully) include a larger footprint, built-in casework, better shelving, and a kitchenette. We would love to be able to host you as if you’re guests in our own home, with food and drink, conversation, and of course, candlelight.”

Jana and Mark are also two out of the three people behind Hunter Design and Build. According to the company website, “Hunter Design & Build has been in operation since 2007. We started as just two brothers, Adam and Mark Hunter, but have since increased our size to three. We are an eclectic group of hardworking and experienced individuals each with unique skills that contribute to our collective project success.”

When it comes to the property itself, according to RedFin, “3829 S Edmunds St is a 1,600 square foot townhouse on a 953 square foot lot.” The property was originally built in 2007 and was renovated back in 2012. The property is listed to be off the market.
