While an official opening date and information on what Heggie’s Place will offer, according to the permit filing, it is described as a “spirits rest lounge.”

According to Loop Net, the property that will house Heggie’s Place is approximately 5,200 square feet in size. The lot size is stated to be 0.077.

The permit filer for Heggie’s Place is listed as Monte Heggie, who also is the registered agent for Monte Heggie Properties, LLC, according to OpenGovWA. Upon further research, it seems that Monte also owns a local funeral parlor called Heggie’s Colonial Funeral Home.

Monte reached out to SCI’s divestiture department, expressing his interest in acquiring a funeral home location in Eastern Washington, according to the company website.
