A representative of Gig Harbor Wine Co. was not immediately available for commentary upon What Now Seattle’s request.

While an official opening date has yet to be confirmed, according to Gig Harbor Wine’s Instagram biography, they plan to debut soon. The company website states their original goal was to open sometime last year.

“We are Ben and Robin Egeland, a husband and wife team with a mission to share our passion for Washington wines. Our goal is not to simply create a great bottle of wine; it’s to create a great bottle of wine that tells a story. Each bottle of Gig Harbor Wine Co. wine provides a glimpse into small-town Gig Harbor and its local history.”

“Inspired by his modern approach to winemaking, and his ability to produce wines that showcase the natural elements of the varietal, we’ve partnered with award-winning Walla Walla Winemaker, Aryn Morell to produce wines from some of Washington’s most notable AVAs. We believe that the best wines are those that are shared with friends and family and we can’t wait to share our wines with you!”

Gig Harbor Wine Co., alongside the tasting room, also offers a wine club option as well as wines to be shipped to you. The Captain’s Club will provide its members with 12 wines annually, with 6 bottles twice a year, once during the spring and once during the fall.
