A representative of Kajiken was not immediately available to comment upon What Now Seattle’s request.

While an official opening date has yet to be confirmed, according to the permit, Kajiken was filed under YZ FDVENTURE LLC.

Washington Company Search states that YZ FDVENTURE LLC was incorporated on April 3rd, 2024. Two people are listed on the LLC and permit filing: Huilin Ye and Simin Zhou. Huilin is also listed to be behind Umami Bowl LLC.

It looks like this Kajiken location could be the second Seattle area location for the franchise. According to Kajiken’s company website, “Kajiken is a renowned Japanese chain known for our exceptional abura soba. At Kajiken, we dedicate ourselves to perfecting the art of this distinctive ramen style, emphasizing our unwavering commitment to flavor and technique.”

“With precise seasoning, meticulous cooking methods, and the finest ingredients, we create an unparalleled taste experience that defines our brand. The first Kajiken was established in Fukue, Showa-ku Nagova in Japarby Kenichi Kaji, featuring abura soba that has gained popularity worldwide.”
