A representative of Sugar & Co was not immediately available to comment upon What Now Seattle’s request.

While an official opening date and what Sugar & Co. plans to offer have yet to be confirmed, according to the permit, Sugar & Co. has filed for four different permissions with one of them being a spirits, wine, and beer rest lounge.

According to Loop Net, the address listed on Sugar & Co’s permit is a part of The Knights of Pythias building. The listing states the building consists of four stories with 20,000 square feet of space.

“The Knights of Pythias building, a Fairhaven relic since 1891, is a stunning example of Richardson Romanesque architecture. Featuring large bay windows on the upper stories and a huge skylight, this historic gem fills with natural light.”

“Both floors also have sweeping bay views. Once home to the Knights of Pythias and Masonic Lodge, the two upper levels have been unoccupied since the 1960s, offering a rare opportunity to reimagine these beautiful and grand spaces.”

“The ground and daylight basement floors are bustling with beloved establishments like Colophon Cafe, Drizzle, and Milano’s. Convenient access via the Village Green completes this unique offering.”
