“I am the owner of Lonely Siren but run it in partnership with our chef Randal Ventura. We are a small Portuguese/Iberian-inspired bar with a kind of maximalist vibe that is very much inspired by Chef Randal’s grandmother who is from the Arzores Islands off the coast of Portugal,” Brandi Sather told What Now Seattle

“We will be having a soft opening date coming up for the Magic in the Market event. We will be offering a small menu of some of our favorite Portuguese-inspired dishes including bifana sandwiches (thinly sliced, marinated Iberico pork on house-made bread), grilled sardines, and pastéis de bacalhau (salt cod fritters) and my personal favorite, our version of pastéis de nata (cult classic sweet egg custard tart that is heavenly).”

“We will be open for business with regular hours (4:30 PM-12 AM or later) shortly after our soft opening date,” Brandi added.

According to a meeting document from the city of Seattle, Lonely Siren will feature fig and dates wallpaper in green, distressed mirror titles, a deep chocolate hue features hints of brown, black, and violet in its undertone for the paint color, and mirror title at the end of the hallway for the entryway.

The dining area will be painted with a vivacious shade of coral tinged with pink, with this electric hue being described as the deǚnition of charismatic color. The wallpaper will be replaced with “Jardin Imaginario wallpaper in dark,” replacing wooden benches with upholstered benches, and replacing light fixtures with swag lights.

The exterior features a “glass house.” There will be cement tiles that will be painted black and white in a checkered pattern, with plants in varying sizes in terracotta pots. The walls of the exterior will also feature a terracotta paint color, according to the meeting document.
