While an official opening date and specific menu offerings have yet to be confirmed, Xom’s website describes the upcoming restaurant as inspired by the traditional Vietnamese concept of “xóm,” a close-knit neighborhood where people come together to eat, socialize, and create lasting memories.

Xóm ăn nhậu invites customers to experience the heart and soul of Vietnam’s culinary culture in a truly authentic and heartwarming way. Nestled within their restaurant, it is stated that customers will find an intimate and inviting space designed for one purpose – to bring friends, family, and even strangers together around the table.

Here, patrons can indulge in delightful Vietnamese cuisine while forging new connections and creating unforgettable moments. Their mission is to provide every guest with an unforgettable experience that embraces tradition, culture, and community through the art of food, according to the company website.

Vietnamese food can be described as a balance and harmony of flavors. Every dish strives to strike a perfect equilibrium between sweet, salty, sour, and spicy flavors. The use of fresh herbs, aromatic spices, and a variety of condiments can add depth and complexity to every bite.

One common entree is pho, the Vietnamese noodle soup. Created with a broth base, pho serves as a canvas for tender slices of beef or chicken, rice noodles, and a bouquet of fresh herbs. Another common entree could be spring rolls, both fresh and fried. Fresh spring rolls, or “gỏi cuốn,” are commonly a medley of shrimp, herbs, pork, rice vermicelli, and a hint of crunchy vegetables, wrapped in rice paper. The fried variety, known as “chả giò,” offers a delightful contrast with its crispy, golden exterior and savory filling.
