According to a recent permit filing, The Hideout-El Escondite will soon open its doors in Kennewick at 2107 W 4th Avenue.

“We will be offering Mexican food options, and liquor as well. There will be events on Fridays and Saturdays and live music. We plan to have a happy hour for drinks and food, with our goal opening date to be at the end of this month,” the owner, Agustin Gonzalez, told What Now Seattle.

The Hideout-El Escondite LLC, according to Bizapedia, was incorporated in December of 2023. Agustin is listed on both the permit filing and the business file for The Hideout.

When it comes to the property itself, according to Loop Net, the building was originally built in 1960. The approximate square footage to lease is listed at 5,300 square feet.

The property overview on Loop Net states, “Former event center is ready to be occupied by your business. The suite is comprised of a large open space, a built-in bar, and a full commercial kitchen. Other businesses in the plaza consist of a restaurant, salon, church, and more.”

The previous event venue in question was Establishment 323. According to Washington Company Search, Establishment 323, or Establishment 323 INC., was first incorporated in 2006. It is stated to have “administratively dissolved” as of May 2019.
