A representative of Strega was not immediately available for commentary upon What Now Seattle’s request.

While an official opening date has yet to be confirmed, according to the permit filing, Strega will come from Sarah and Samuele Lucchese, who are also behind Pasteria Lucchese.

According to the company website for Pasteria, “We created Pasteria Lucchese to share our love and passion for Italian foods with you all.  Check out our different pages for descriptions and ideas to help inspire you.”

“We will try to keep you updated with in-season ideas that incorporate our pastas, sauces, and desserts with the bounty from the local farmers at the market.”

Their website lists multiple sections, with some of those being their pasta options, ravioli options, and sauces to name a few. Patrons can find a wide range of options, from potato gnocchi to spinach fettuccine, duck ravioli, and more.

According to Loop Net, the property was originally built back in 1904. The overall building size is listed to be approximately 8,000 square feet, with approximately 2,000 square feet listed available to rent.

The listing from Loop Net goes on to describe the space as a “Prime Ballard restaurant space located on the street-level of a cool brick building. The space boasts exposed brick walls, wood floors, lofty ceilings, a wood storefront, etc. There is also an outdoor patio located in the rear of the building.”
