“We don’t have an official goal opening date yet,” the co-owner, James Sherrill, told What Now Seattle, ” We will be offering Nordic-inspired food and lunch items, as well as cocktail options.”

Founded by James and Gelsey Sherrill in 2017, the company states that they bring a wealth of experience in the hospitality industry to curate unforgettable moments for their patrons.

James, a Seattle native, has left his creative mark on various restaurants in both Seattle and San Francisco. He honed his culinary skills at prestigious establishments like Jardinière and the two Michelin-starred seafood haven, Aqua, in San Francisco. Upon returning to Seattle, he collaborated with Jason Wilson at Crush, held the position of chef de cuisine at Restaurant Zoë, and served as the executive chef at Re:public and Single Shot.

In recognition of his culinary prowess, he was awarded the Rising Star Chef accolade by Seattle Met Magazine in 2014. James, who also boasts over 100 catering experiences, is excited to blend his extensive restaurant background with his previous catering expertise, which even includes orchestrating his own wedding in 2016.

Gelsey, too, has dedicated her adult life to the hospitality industry. She has worked at esteemed venues such as Bastille Café & Bar, Sandpoint Grill, and 1927 Events. Gelsey finds joy in providing anticipatory service to clients during their events and offering guidance to the service team, according to the company website.
