“We will be opening the second location on February 1st, 2024. Tumbleweeds has been in business for 23 years at our current location and is a family-owned business. My wife and I took over about ten years ago, and we started a food truck last year. We learned a lot about the mobile food truck business and had great success, and decided to double down on the business and expand,” owner Keith Moon told What Now Seattle.

“For the new location, we will have a menu redesign with a few new products. We will be serving limited beer and wine options. We will also be hosting outdoor events on the large patio area, such as live music and entertainment, on the weekends.”

“We will be hiring around four to six people for both stores, so eight to ten people overall for the company. We will be splitting the staff at the current store to move over to the new location,” Keith added.

An article from KEPR TV dives in with more information about the food truck, stating, “Owners and staff tell us the project has been almost a year in the works now, and say they are excited to bring their food to a whole new fanbase outside of Richland. Long-time staff members at the restaurant tell us having watched the process go from an empty trailer to a fully equipped kitchen has been a fulfilling experience, and say they can’t wait to start serving up food.”

“Owner of Tumbleweeds Mexican Flair! Keith Moon, tells us. “We’re going to have a few different options. The options will vary depending on the event, how long the event is, and how many people are expected at the event. We will have base-line a full menu and a limited menu, both of them limited in nature from what our restaurant offers.”
