Todd Ward of Todd Ward LLC is listed as the Owner per the permit on file with the city, but he was unavailable for comment. A representative for Ward from the Puyallup Tribe of Indians told What Now Seattle, “We’re getting closer on finalizing design plans. We think it’s going to be a really cool place.” No further details were provided.
Todd Ward LLC is a project management company that’s worked in “Puget Sound as well as in Oregon, Texas, Louisiana, California, Hawaii, and Massachusetts. Experiences include tenant improvement, new construction, and remodels.”
Yamaguchi’s restaurants per his website are all currently located in Hawaii with six in Oahu, two in Maui, and one in both Kauai and Big Island. He’s “known as the innovator of Hawaiian inspired cuisine, an eclectic blend of California-French-Japanese cooking traditions created with fresh ingredients from the Islands.”
The remodel and addition is listed to cost $3,000,000. This will include site modifications for parking and pedestrian access along with mechanical, plumbing, and electrical work to be done.
